Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT)
This transportation service is designed to help individuals who need to travel to non-emergency medical appointments. It’s a vital service for people who don’t have access to a vehicle or public transportation, especially those with chronic conditions or disabilities.
Common uses of NEMT service include transportation to:
- Doctor appointments
- Dialysis or chemotherapy treatments
- Physical therapy
- Specialist consultations
- Lab Draw Appointments
NEMT is often funded or covered by Medicaid and other health insurance plans, helping lower-income or elderly patients maintain access to healthcare. However, when insurance is not available to cover these services the out of pocket cost is doable.
Standard Membership

It is nice to have a family member or friend take you out to your doctor appointments and personal appointments. But it is disheartening and disappointing when they can no longer drive you to your appointments, they can’t wait for you until you finish your appointment or they’re own schedule makes them unreliable. You begin to feel like a burden.
