About Us

At Patient In Transit, we believe there is no reason to miss an appointment.

Patient In Transit started to offer quality, safe, reliable and respectful Non-Emergency Medical Transportation to the elderly and physically impaired population. We heard the stories of elderly, veterans, and other limited mobility populations being frustrated with transportation. Unfortunately, many of them missed doctor appointments and family events because they were not able to secure a ride to and from their destination.

Family and friends have busy and hectic schedules that leaves them unable to accommodate the early morning or mid-day doctor appointments or lab visits So, Patient In Transit was formed to help fill this gap.

Because your appointments are important to you, they are important to us. When we pick you up, you become our priority so therefore we guarantee a timely pick up time.

Patient In Transit believes strongly that you deserve to have quality, reliable, and respectful transportation, which we always guarantee. There is no reason not to attend a family event because no one is available to give you a ride to the event and from the event when you are ready to home.

There is also no reason for you to stay at the doctor’s office or at an event longer than you need or want to be.

It is nice to have a family member or friend take you out to your doctor appointments and personal appointments. But it is disheartening and disappointing when they can no longer drive you to your appointments, they can’t wait for you until you finish your appointment or they’re own schedule makes them unreliable. You begin to feel like a burden.
